Mya the Detective

Mya had a big secret and she was willing to give away one clue (Robber is the clue). Now The story begins: It was a dark and gloomy night. The church bell was about to strike midnight when 12 year old Mya came out from the stars. Mya was a detective with a note pad and a pen. Mya could solve any case. One day Mya was walking on the street of Ikeel Road. Mya loved Ikeel Road. It was the first day of Summer and Mya could solve all the cases in town. Her friend Sally always challenged Mya to solve the cases but Sally went to summer camp and Mya stayed home and so did everyone else. Mya was working for Dr. Obdigie. Mya hoped to be the head of the group but she was the youngest. She always wondered why all she was the best detective.

A week later she asked Dr. Obdigie why she couldn’t be the head of the group. He explained that she was too young. Then Mya said she was the best detective in the group. Dr. Obdigie said she could be his assistant. Mya was proud of herself but she still wanted to be the head of the group. Dr. Obdigie said if she really wanted to really to be the head then they could have a vote. Dr. Obdigie knew everybody would vote for him. There would be a challenge to see who everyone would want to vote for. Mya brought all her friends and Dr. Obdigie brought all his friends. Then all the people in the group watched as first all of Dr. Obdigie friends would give Mya a case to solve. She solved the case but not very quickly. Then Mya’s friends gave Dr. Obdigie a case to solve. He solved the case not too well. Then they did the same thing over and over again. Then one of Mya’s friends gave a really hard case. Dr. Obdigie did not solve it at all. Mya solved it for him. All of Dr. Obdigie’s friends said Mya had to solve one more case to win. She did not solve the next case correct. Now Mya would have to let Dr. Obdigie back in the challenge.

The next case Mya gave was if about a man and a police officer who said the man was guilty of stealing money. The man said he was not guilty because he was at a gas station for an hour. There also was a baby in the car and when the policeman. The policemen said he would hold the baby. But the man said he will put the baby on top of the car. The baby was fine on the car he did not think it was hot at all. So the question was: Did the man steal the money? Dr. Obdigie said no. Mya said yes, and indeed yes the man did steal the money. Obdigie said prove it. Mya said the thing is, if the man put the child on the car the child would have screamed like crazy because the roof would have been hot for the hour break. Which means the man did steal the money. Then Dr. Obdigie gave Mya a case. If Mya gets the case right she wins. Mya got the case correct and she won and became the head of the group! Dr. Obdigie became very mad but he still knew that people would still vote for him. However, everybody voted for Mya! Mya and all of her friends jumped up and down as Mya had wanted this for a long time. Just that day Sally joined the group. Sally thought that Dr. Obdigie would be the head of the group, she didn't know about the vote. Sally agreed to be nice to Mya from now on.
