July 12th 2022, There was a power outage at camp. All the campers were safe. When the campers were outside eating food, they saw a fire truck. This was because the camp director, Marcus, got stuck in the elevator. Because of the outage, the water fountains didn't work. The outage started in 5th period. Some kids had computer activities in the next period. Those were canceled. The period 6 Camp Newspaper kids had to play on the playground. Parents got an email. The email told parents about the outage and the fire truck. Some campers were outside in fifth period. When they went inside, they were confused because the emergency lights were on. They were confused and soon found out what happened. The power was back up at 6 PM.
